As a parent of a UC Santa Cruz student you are an important member of our campus community.  We invite you to get involved! There are many ways to volunteer!

Financially support the following:
  • Parents' Fund
  • Colleges 
  • Academic Divisions and/or Departments
  • UCSC Fund
  • Scholarship Funds
Volunteer your time
  • Join the UC Santa Cruz Parent Council
  • Serve as information sources-on campus and or in your hometown.
  • Share your expertise and resources with UCSC.
  • Identify potential donors and work with the University Relations staff to cultivate those relationships (donor cultivation sources include professional, social, and community relationships).
Attend or help host any of the following parent-focused events:
  • Community Family Receptions
  • Student Send-Offs
  • Summer Orientations-represent UCSC Parent Programs for incoming parents and students
  • Move-In activities
  • Winter Family Days
